Another checkoff on the TO DO List: Redo the shadowbox frames bought for $1 at garage sale.
Not $1 each---all 4 for one buck. What a deal even if one of the glass inserts is missing. I didn't need the glass for what I was planning!
I had been lusting this upholstery fabric at Hobby Lobby for a while and got 1/2 yard for $10ish with my coupon discount. Then I decided placement and cut away. I simply wrapped the fabric around the backboard and hot glued it to the back side.
Tried my little art project on the wall and added
in a few doodahs for interest. Made the scaredy
cat in my pottery group and sewed the frayed
edge flowers with all my many scraps. Decided
the character marks on frame edges would not
work so I repainted with black semi-gloss for a
more polished look.
